Young People and Sex-Ed Advocates Put Premiers on Notice about the State of Sex-Ed in Canada

Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights is hosting a press conference during the Council of the Federation to mark the launch of #SexEdSavesLives a campaign advocating for comprehensive sex-ed everywhere in Canada.

Before the press conference, young people and sex-ed advocates will be asking premiers in a public youth-led creative stunt, “What do you wish you’d learned in sex-ed?” in front of the Bessborough hotel.

Speakers will include Darrah Teitel, Campaigns Officer at Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights, Heather Hale, Executive Director at Saskatoon Sexual Health, Tracy Zambory, President of the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses, and Tasnim Jaisee, youth advocate and summer student at Saskatoon Sexual Health.
