Action Canada is pleased to announce Vitala Global partnership - changing the landscape of SRH care in Canada

We’re thrilled to share that Action Canada is collaborating with Vitala Global, a Canadian tech not-for-profit that co-creates digital sexual and reproductive health tools with women, girls, non-binary and trans communities, to improve and expand access to abortion care and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) care in Canada.

This collaboration comes at a time when people across the country continue to face uneven access to accurate, timely, and stigma-free SRH information and end-to-end care. Geographic distance, service gaps, wait times, misinformation, and persistent stigma can all make it harder for people to get the support they need, when they need it most. For many, especially those in rural, remote, and underserved communities, digital tools can play an important role in bridging these gaps by offering trusted information and remote practical and emotional support.

Together, we’re adapting Vitala’s award-winning digital companion, Aya Contigo, to improve the experience of people seeking medication abortion support and reliable SRH information in Canada.

Currently, we’re looking to connect with individuals who have navigated medication abortions with Mifegymiso for a 60-minute interview. The experiences you share will contribute to enhancing tools like Aya Contigo, and improving access to medication abortion across Canada. You will also be compensated $50 for your time. Connected care solutions can transform SRH access across Canada by weaving together remote clinical support and seamless care navigation—empowering people to overcome barriers with dignity. In a landscape marked by uneven access and rising misinformation, this partnership will ensure more people can connect to the rights-based care they deserve, right when they need it.
