Background
Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights (Action Canada) is implementing a project called SHIFTS (Strengthening Health Systems for Integrated & Transformative SRHR), a multi-country project implemented through a partnership led by Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights with International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), and local implementing partners including PPFN (Nigeria), AMODEFA (Mozambique), and ABFP (Benin). The project aims to strengthen sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for women, adolescents, and marginalized communities in Benin, Mozambique, and Nigeria by addressing persistent gender inequalities, weak health systems, and structural and social barriers to accessing quality SRHR services.
