At the heart of Canada’s leadership on SRHR, is collective action. Together, we celebrated decades of hard-won progress while grounding ourselves in the work that lies ahead.
In an increasingly complex global landscape—marked by rising opposition, shifting political priorities, and evolving funding models—protecting access to safe abortion and comprehensive SRHR has never been more urgent. Civil society and government must continue to work hand-in-hand to safeguard our progress.
Canada has a critical opportunity to stand firm, and strengthen the partnerships that champion health equity worldwide. Action Canada and MSI recently conducted a poll that afirms that 8 in 10 Canadians want to see Canada to continue its leadership on SRHR here and around the world.
As we reflect on how far we’ve come, we remain unwavering in our commitment to advance rights, amplify community-led solutions, and build a world where no one is left behind.
